So you've got the pipe, added the air kit, made some timing adjustments, installed the tuner, and downloaded the map for your mods. You are finished right? Not necessarily!
All motors from cars to motorcycles to four wheelers are slightly different. Typically, no two are the same (even identical motors), and their requirements for fueling are different. With that in mind, a generic downloaded map will "work", but simply cannot be ideal.
What's the big deal, my bike runs fine?
That may be true, but without sampling the air fuel ratio, you cant really know for sure. Most generic maps are set up so far to the safe side ( read rich ), that they can cheat you out of horsepower, drivability,
and throttle response....WAIT, these maps might be cheating me of the power I just spent a few thousand dollars to get? that's correct! Also, while a overly rich map may seem safe, is it really? In a word. NO!
Excessively rich mixtures can decrease fuel mileage, possibly foul plugs, wash the very needed lubricating oil off the cylinder walls (causing accelerated wear to you rings), and "water" down your engine oil. It is
very possible the map you downloaded may contribute to actually wearing out your motor.
Why dyno tune?
Dyno tuning is the final piece of the puzzle for dialing in your exact combination of performance parts. Even if you aren't really interested in making the most power possible, dyno tuning is still important. Our
approach to tuning is to set your bike up with the ideal air fuel ratios that your engine needs to run properly and most importantly, safely. Our goal is the best drivabilty and crisp throttle response possible. This
area is what you use the most on a street driven motorcycle.
Why choose us?
We have the most advanced dyno in the the area. Our dyno is has upgraded capabilities that others in the area cannot match. Ask around, does the shop you are considering have an air fuel meter? Does their
dyno have the ability to "load" the motorcycle to simulate real world conditions? Ours does! We have over 16 years of experience in tuning motorcycles. NO ONE in this area has more experince, NO ONE.
what can we tune?
We have experience in tuning Sportbikes, Harleys and Metric cruisers. We can even tune (properly jet)your carbureted motorcycle!
If you are considering purchasing performance parts, feel free to drop by or call and discuss what your goals are. We have found many combinations that work, and we can help you choose that parts that will
meet or exceed your goals. Believe it or not, there are many parts and that don't do anything for performance other than make noise.
